Quick Protein plate- Warm for Winter

pinit

I was in East Bay  area a couple of weeks ago and had an opportunity to be at the Food Truck fair with my daughter and her family. It was Amazing!!!

All different kinds of food made right in the Trucks-fresh and  amazing!! I tried the Korean Tofu dish, it was really nice and spicy with Chili Sauce. Broccoli with cheese and topped with spicy sauted Tofu  I  thought of making similar item with  Teriyaki sauce. This dish was very healthy and for Vegans too. Good protein.

So I bought some Broccoli and Tofu. I had Teriyaki sauce at home. I buy the thick one. I used Peanuts, it gave an extra taste and crunch. I used some shredded carrots and some cilantro for garnish.

I steamed the Broccoli in the Microwave -you can also steam it in the pot.

I think this dish can be tried with many different sauces and would make a great quick snack or lunch. Next time I will use Curry sauce and see.

It is best to serve fresh-does not take long to make it.
