Tofu with Peanut sauce – Thai style

pinit View Gallery 2 photos

Not getting enough Protein in our daily food intake, made me think of different ways I can create tasty Tofu dishes. There is already TOFU MASALEDAR in this blog site.I like the Peanut sauce and wanted to make it easy for people who like it too or want to try it. Tofu  is very bland just plain, so this works well for me.

Tofu is available in Asian Grocery stores in many Countries.

The Peanut sauce is easy to make.

The key to remember is to make this dish fresh. You can also add chopped Green chilies if you like per your taste. .

I bought EXTRA FIRM TOFU,

Had some Teriyaki sauce, Hot and Sweet Chili sauce, and Good Ol’ Peanut Butter- you can use it crunchy if you like

-I used smooth Peanut Butter. If Teriyaki Sauce is not available, you can use Soya Sauce,Garlic, Ginger and a bit of Honey- 1/4 Cup Soya Sauce, 1 Tablespoon Honey, 1/2 Tea Spoon each freshly grated Ginger and crushed Garlic..Top it with 1/2 teaspoon Sesame seeds

This dish can be served as Snack, and Appetizer or a part of your Main Course. Makes enough to serve 3 to 4 people for main Dish. or 6 to 8 people for snack-appetizer

This dish goes well with Rice and vegetables, and Salad- if you are a vegetarian You can also use chicken dish with Rice and Salad
